How to Download AION 2 on PC: Steam and PURPLE

AION 2's global version is a PC release distributed through Steam and NC's PURPLE launcher. Download it only from the official website, Steam store or PURPLE client.

Choose Steam or PURPLE

Option	Best when	Before installing
Steam	You already manage games and updates through Steam	Confirm the store region and the Steam account you intend to use
PURPLE	You prefer NC's launcher and account flow	Sign in to the intended NC account and confirm the service region

Both launch the same global PC service. Do not download repacked installers, unofficial launchers or account tools from guide sites.

Installation Steps

1. Open the official AION 2 website and choose Steam or PURPLE under Download.
2. Sign in to the platform account you plan to keep using.
3. Start the installation and leave enough free space for the base client and future patches.
4. Let the launcher finish verification before opening the game.
5. At first launch, check the selected region, server and language before creating a character.

First-Launch Checklist

• Install pending Windows and graphics-driver updates, then restart if requested.
• Allow the official game and anti-cheat components through security prompts only when the publisher is shown as NC or the selected store platform.
• Confirm your friends' region, server and faction before creating your main character.
• Keep recovery access for the platform account and enable its available security protections.

After the client works, continue with the beginner guide.
