Stigmas are extra class skills that let two characters of the same class solve a fight differently. A useful setup is not simply the one with the highest tooltip number: it must fit your role, the encounter, your available slots and the rest of your rotation. Treat the Stigma page as a loadout system and save more than one preset when the client allows it.

How Stigmas Fit Your Build

Start by naming the job the loadout must do. Solo questing values short cooldowns, area damage and self-sustain. A boss setup values reliable single-target damage and effects that remain useful during movement. PvP often gives more weight to control, escape, resistance and burst windows. A tank or healer should first cover the party's survival requirement, then add damage with the space that remains.

Stigma availability, slot rules and upgrade costs can change by class or patch. Use the current skill window as the final authority instead of assuming that a list made for another region or version is still exact.

Build a First Loadout

  1. Equip one skill that clearly supports your main role.
  2. Add an answer to your most common failure: mobility, interruption, crowd control, mitigation or recovery.
  3. Fill the remaining space with damage that fits your normal rotation rather than competing with it.
  4. Read each cooldown, resource cost and condition in the client.
  5. Test on the same target or encounter several times before spending scarce upgrade materials.

Avoid filling every slot with long-cooldown burst skills. If all of them are unavailable together, the rotation can become weaker and harder to recover after a mechanic.

Compare Skills Correctly

QuestionWhy it matters
Does it replace or supplement a normal skill?A replacement can change the whole rotation; a supplement only needs a useful window.
Does the effect require a condition?Knockdown, aerial, rear attacks and low-health triggers are not equally reliable in every fight.
Can you use it while moving?A slightly weaker mobile action may deliver more real damage than a cast repeatedly cancelled by mechanics.
Does it help the party?Protection, cleansing, control and debuffs can be worth more than personal tooltip damage.
Is the cooldown aligned with other buffs?Skills that line up naturally are easier to execute and compare.

Change one Stigma at a time, keep equipment and target constant, and compare a complete combat window. This separates the skill's effect from random critical hits or unrelated gear changes.

Upgrade Priority

Upgrade the Stigmas used in your stable loadout before experimental choices. Prioritize improvements that affect reliability—cooldown, duration, resource use or an effect you trigger consistently—then consider narrow bonuses. Keep a reserve until you know whether the next content tier asks for a different defensive or utility skill.

Do not judge an upgrade from the name alone. Open its next rank in the current client and confirm exactly which value changes. If a patch resets, refunds or changes progression, follow the notice shown by the game.

Class Skill Catalogs

Compare the full level tables for Assassin, Gladiator, Ranger, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, and Templar. Use the Stigma filter on each page to narrow the list without hiding the underlying progression data from the page.

Loadout Checklist

  • Save separate solo, party and PvP presets where possible.
  • Place the new action on a reachable key and practice its timing.
  • Check that control effects do not disrupt the party's planned mechanic.
  • Revisit the setup after a major item or stat change.
  • Pair skill choices with the Daevanion board instead of improving both systems independently.
  • Use the stats guide to diagnose accuracy, survival or resource problems before replacing a good skill.

The best Stigma setup is the one you can execute consistently for the content in front of you. Build around a clear purpose, test controlled changes and keep alternatives ready.
