On this page
Transcendence is a higher-difficulty dungeon format where later stages raise the Item Level target and add stage effects. The correct stage is the highest one your party can clear consistently, not simply the highest one visible in the menu. A failed run gives less useful practice when the group cannot survive the first added condition.
How Stages Change
Stage 1 establishes the base encounter. Later stages can add named effects such as Balance, Wrath, Judgment, Ascension, Roar or Residual Lightning depending on the dungeon. These are stage modifiers, not universal boss mechanics. Read the active effects in the current client before every queue and adjust the party plan to the exact combination shown.
Item Level requirements and weekly limits may change with seasons or updates. Use the dungeon menu for the live requirement and remaining reward count.
Choose the Right Stage
- Confirm every member meets the displayed entry requirement.
- Clear the lower stage cleanly before adding another effect.
- Identify whether failures come from survival, accuracy, damage or an ignored modifier.
- Change one part of the build or plan, then retry.
- Move up only when the current stage is repeatable rather than barely completed.
| Result | Next action |
|---|---|
| Frequent deaths before the boss | Fix pulls, defense and recovery |
| Boss attacks miss or are resisted | Review accuracy and role stats |
| Party survives but misses the damage check | Improve rotation alignment and core gear |
| Modifier repeatedly causes failure | Assign a response before the next pull |
| Clear is stable with resources remaining | Consider the next stage |
Party Preparation
Bring a clear role setup, repaired equipment and reachable recovery items. Agree on interrupt, cleanse, mitigation and revival responsibilities before starting. Stage effects can change the best Stigma or defensive choice, so save a dungeon preset rather than rebuilding during the run.
Use the stats guide to diagnose failures and the gear progression guide to close an Item Level gap without overspending.
Weekly Reward Planning
Check the current menu for claim limits and reset time. Spend reward-bearing attempts on a stage the party can complete, then use practice runs only when the expected improvement is clear. Do not assume every Transcendence dungeon shares the same party size, stage table or reward rules.
Current Dungeon Paths
Deus Research Base provides an earlier staged route, while Abyssal Horn Den represents a later staged challenge in the captured global data. Draupnir and Ferocious Horn Den also include Transcendence modes alongside their other modes.
Treat each stage as a new rule set: read the modifiers, solve the specific failure and climb only when the previous stage is controlled.
