AION 2 is a next-generation MMORPG developed and published by NCSoft, the studio behind the original AION. Set in the world of Atreia, it continues the conflict between the Elyos and Asmodian factions.
The game features 8 starting classes, large-scale PvE dungeons, faction-based PvP, and the series' signature flight-based exploration across a seamless world.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is AION 2 free to play?
Yes. AION 2 is free to play on PC. An optional paid membership and cosmetic shop exist, and optional Founder's Packs were sold before launch, but none are required to play.
What platforms support AION 2?
AION 2 is available on Windows PC via Steam and NCSoft's PURPLE launcher. A PS5/console version has been confirmed but has no release date yet. There is no Western mobile version at launch.
How many starting classes are there?
AION 2 launches with 8 starting classes across four archetypes: Gladiator and Templar (Warrior), Assassin and Ranger (Scout), Sorcerer and Spiritmaster (Mage), Cleric and Chanter (Priest). See our classes overview for details.
Does AION 2 have PvP?
Yes. Like the original AION, AION 2 features faction-based conflict between the Elyos and Asmodians, including the Abyss and Spacetime Rift invasions into enemy territory.
