Theostones are weapon-slot items that add a chance-based combat effect. The global client data in version 0.0.4387.0 contains 51 Theostones: 17 Rare, 17 Epic and 17 Unique. Their value comes from the effect, trigger conditions and the content you play—not simply from choosing the highest color available.

What Theostones Can Do

The recorded set includes single-target elemental damage, area damage that can hit up to four targets, damage-over-time effects such as Bleed or Poison, and control effects such as Seal, Paralyze, Blind, Root and Stun. Other entries reduce movement or combat speed. Damage and control effects do not all share the same activation cooldown, so read the item panel rather than treating every proc as identical.

Use the stats guide to decide whether a proc complements your current offensive or defensive profile. A useful effect for small-group PvP may not be the best choice for sustained boss damage.

Choosing a Theostone

Start with the activity you want to improve. For PvE, compare reliable damage contribution, target count and how often the effect can matter during a long encounter. For PvP, control duration, immunity windows and your class's existing crowd control are more important than a tooltip number alone. Also check whether your weapon is likely to remain in your gear progression path before committing scarce resources.

Do not use a universal “best Theostone” list without checking the live tooltip. Balance updates can change proc values, cooldowns or conditions while leaving the item name unchanged.

Combining Grades

The archived combination table records a Rare combination result of 11.1% Epic and 88.9% Rare in aggregate. An Epic combination records 9.1% Unique and 90.9% Epic. These are version-scoped table values, not a guarantee for an individual attempt. Confirm the selected inputs, output preview and current client percentages before proceeding.

Combining should be treated as a resource decision. Keep a usable effect equipped until the replacement is ready, and avoid consuming a stone that fills a specific PvP or PvE role merely because its grade is lower.

Upgrade Checklist

  1. Confirm the stone goes into the weapon slot and that the weapon is part of your near-term set.
  2. Read the exact effect, target limit, trigger chance and activation cooldown.
  3. Compare the effect with your class kit and usual content.
  4. Check the live combination preview before committing materials.
  5. Re-evaluate after a balance patch or weapon change.

For the rest of the equipment loop, see gear enhancement. This guide describes the recorded global-client system and does not promise a particular proc, combination result or class ranking.

Version Notes

Counts, grades and aggregate combination rates reflect global client build 0.0.4387.0. The in-game tooltip and combination window are authoritative if later patches display different values.
