Reshanta is AION 2's later shared Abyss space, combining flight, exploration, faction conflict and long-term collection progress. Recorded content uses Lower, Middle and Upper Reshanta labels, with some activities identifying Chaotic layers. Treat the live world map and unlock state as authoritative when names or access conditions differ.

Unlock Reshanta Through Current Progress

Do not attempt to force access from an old coordinate or another faction's story. Continue the main quest and required feature quests until the game exposes the appropriate Reshanta travel. Check the zone guide for the broader faction-to-shared-world transition. If a portal or destination is missing, verify quest completion, map layer and current activity schedule before assuming a bug.

Read Lower, Middle and Upper Layers

Reshanta is not one flat route. Confirm whether the target is in Lower, Middle or Upper Reshanta and whether the client labels a Chaotic variant. A marker on the wrong layer can appear close while remaining unreachable. Before leaving a safe point, open the full map, select the proper layer and identify the return connection. Use current labels rather than translating a location from a different region client by guesswork.

Prepare for Flight

Flight turns vertical position, route length and recovery into navigation decisions. Check the current flight controls, available recovery options and the next stable landing point. The flight and gliding guide explains safe movement and recovery. Do not fly directly toward a distant marker without planning where to stop if combat, terrain or a depleted movement resource interrupts the route.

Expect Abyss and PvP Risk

Reshanta is a shared conflict space, so another player can change a safe collection route into a PvP encounter. Review the Abyss beginner guide, travel with a party when carrying an important objective and avoid chasing an enemy away from the return route. Decide in advance whether the visit is for a quest, collection, event or combat; mixing all four goals makes retreat harder.

Plan Empyrean Trace Collection

The recorded global dataset places Empyrean Trace progress in Lower and Middle Reshanta as part of the wider six-region collection. Use the Empyrean Trace guide for recorded regional totals and movement types. Work in small map sections, confirm each pickup in the collection state and return safely instead of trying to clear every visible point in one exposed trip.

Use the Ereshkigal Monolith Route

Reshanta progression also connects to the Ereshkigal Monolith after the relevant story and collection systems are available. Check the Monolith guide before spending regional traces. A nearby Kibelisk or equivalent return point is more useful than an old coordinate because map labels and access can change. Confirm the next reward and trace cost in the live interface.

Join Scheduled Activities Carefully

Artifact Siege and other Abyss activities may use a particular Reshanta layer and event window. Open the current event panel, verify the destination and arrive before the group moves. The Artifact Siege guide covers objective-based preparation. Outside an active event, do not assume the same portal, opponents or rewards will be present.

Build a Safe Exploration Loop

Begin at a confirmed return point, choose one layer and one objective, then mark a second safe stop before moving. Keep inventory space and recovery items, watch faction activity and return after completing the chosen section. For a party, share the layer, meeting point and withdrawal signal. A short completed route is better than losing time because the group scattered across different vertical levels.

Recover When a Marker Seems Unreachable

Check the map layer, altitude, quest phase, activity schedule and faction access in that order. Look for an interaction or flight path rather than walking directly under the icon. If the route changed after maintenance, consult official notices and the live objective. Capture the map and quest text without account details if you need to contact support.

Reshanta Checklist

Confirm access, correct layer, flight readiness, PvP risk, return point, objective, inventory space and party regroup plan. Separate collection, Monolith, event and combat visits when possible. Use the live map for exact travel and treat old coordinates as hints only after the current client confirms the same location.
