The Hellfire Engine

Player-tested skill specialties include "-2s Hellfire cooldown per Fireball/Flame Arrow cast" — which turns your filler spell into fuel for your biggest nuke. Slot that specialty in the skill window's left panel (specialties must be manually slotted; this is a commonly missed, huge damage gain) and weave Flame Arrow between everything else.

Gear Priorities

1. Spellbook first — caster damage is weapon-driven.
2. Attack Superior (PvE) manastones for endgame sockets.
3. Alchemy crafts your Spellbooks — pairing the class with Alchemy lets you make your own upgrades (see crafting).

Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths: elite magic burst and AoE, top-tier farming speed, strong arena/organized PvP presence.

Weaknesses: cloth armor and low defenses, damage depends on casting windows — interrupts hurt, and positioning mistakes are punished hard.
