AION 2 Character Presets: How to Download, Share and Install Them
How the AION 2 preset system works: download community character presets from the Style Shop, import them in-game, and share your own creations.
Updated: 2026-10-11 · Published: 2026-10-11
AION 2 has a built-in preset sharing ecosystem: you can download other players' character designs and apply them in seconds, or publish your own. This guide covers the full loop — for the sliders themselves, see our character creation guide.
Downloading a Preset
- Visit the official AION 2 Style Shop website (linked from the game's official site).
- Browse community presets — you can filter by class and by categories such as Funny, Cute or Scary.
- Download the presets you like. They land in your Download Storage, tied to your account.
- In-game, open Customization → Manage Appearance and load the preset from your Download Storage.
- Fine-tune any slider afterward — a downloaded preset is a starting point, not a lock.
Sharing Your Own Preset
- Finish your character in the creator (or the appearance editor).
- Take a Snapshot with the "Include Customization Info" option enabled.
- The snapshot becomes shareable through the Style Shop, where other players can download your design.
Free at creation, paid after
Applying a preset during character creation is free. Re-editing an existing character's appearance requires a Customization Ticket — grab any free ones from events and Twitch Drops before paying. Check our codes page for current giveaways.
Tips for Best Results
- Match the preset to your body type first — presets built on the other frame can look off until you adjust proportions.
- Check lighting: the creator's lighting differs from in-game lighting. Rotate the character and preview the profile view before confirming.
- Presets are faction-neutral: both Elyos and Asmodians share the identical creator, so any preset works on either faction.
- If a preset's author used extreme slider values, expect cutscene framing to break slightly — scale extreme proportions down a notch.
