NCSoft has announced a free server transfer period for the global launch. If you picked the wrong server — or your friends did — this is the window to fix it. Check the linked official notice before submitting a transfer: dates, eligibility and maintenance hours can change.
Transfer Window Schedule

Transfers open after the October 13/14 maintenance and are only processed during set daily hours that vary by region.
Cost
- The transfer itself is free (0 Quna), for every character you move.
- The only charge: if the destination server has fewer free character slots than the characters you're moving, extra slots cost 1,000 Quna each.
Hard Rules (Read Before You Commit)
- One transfer request per account. You can select multiple eligible characters from one origin server for that request, but cannot make a second transfer during this period.
- Same faction only. Elyos characters can only move to Elyos-side servers; there is no faction change.
- Same region only.
- Early Access → Early Access only: EA characters cannot move to launch servers (and vice versa in this window).
- Character must be level 10+, standing in a village, out of any Legion (including pending applications), with no active Duty.
Server Storage does NOT transfer
Only the storage expansion record carries over — items and Kinah inside Server Storage are left behind. Empty it completely before you transfer. Inventory, Character Storage, Quna, Mileage, Membership, Daeva Pass progress, skins and friends list all move normally.
Pre-Transfer Checklist
- Empty Server Storage — move everything to inventory or Character Storage.
- Read all mail and claim every attachment (unread mail blocks the transfer).
- Collect Marketplace items and profits; cancel active listings.
- Claim Shop Storage items, including Founder Pack rewards.
- Leave your Legion and finish/abandon active Duty quests.
- Park each character in a village.
After the Transfer
- Every transferred character is renamed to a @TemporaryName placeholder and picks a permanent new name on first login — your old name is released on the origin server.
- Transfers are final: no cancellation, no reversal.
Choose the destination carefully — with one transfer per account, treat it as permanent until NCSoft opens another window.
