The Elyos main quest is the safest backbone for early progression because it moves the character from the Poeta opening into Verteron and later Eltnen while unlocking travel and core systems. This is a route-planning guide rather than a fixed quest-name walkthrough: follow the live Episode marker whenever a patch changes objectives or localization.

Confirm the Elyos Route

Before copying any route, verify that the character is Elyos. Elyos and Asmodian characters use different opening regions, story steps and place names. Read the faction guide if you have not chosen yet. A guide that starts in Ishalgen or sends you through Altgard belongs to the Asmodian path and should not be forced onto an Elyos character.

Poeta: Learn the Main Quest Rhythm

Use Poeta to learn how the main quest marker, interactions, travel prompts and reward claims work. Keep the Episode objective tracked and complete tutorial actions when they introduce a permanent system. Do not stop to clear every optional marker before the story points forward. Open nearby travel access and learn where the return point is, then move with the main quest when the next region becomes available.

Verteron: Build the Progression Loop

Verteron is the first large Elyos route where story, equipment, exploration and feature quests begin to overlap. Prioritize the main quest and any clearly marked feature unlock, then collect nearby objectives that require little detour. Use the leveling route to decide whether a side quest closes a real experience gap. Long collection detours are easier after more travel points are open.

Eltnen: Follow the Current Episode Order

Eltnen continues the Elyos route after the earlier region is sufficiently advanced. The exact handoff and available subareas can change, so use the current Episode text, map highlight and unlock notices. Before leaving Verteron, claim pending quest rewards and check that the next travel destination is active. In Eltnen, treat survival, travel access and the next story objective as higher priorities than clearing every named location.

Protect Travel and Return Options

Activate travel points, Kibelisk or other return functions when the main route passes them, but do not invent a long detour solely to complete the map. Before entering an unfamiliar subarea, identify the nearest return point and safe road. The map navigation guide explains how to use current map filters and quest tracking instead of relying on an outdated screenshot.

Handle Side Quests and Feature Quests

Take side quests that share the main quest area, reward a needed upgrade or unlock a system. Leave distant cleanup for a later pass unless it blocks progression. Feature quests deserve special attention because they may open crafting, dungeons, collection systems or movement options. The quest types guide helps separate Episode progress from exploration and profession tasks.

Keep Gear Ready Without Over-Upgrading

Compare quest rewards before dismantling current equipment and keep inventory space for the next story section. If enemies become slow or dangerous, first check equipped items, skill levels and missed rewards. Use the gear progression guide before investing heavily in a piece likely to be replaced by the next main quest chapter.

Recover When the Main Quest Disappears

Open the quest journal and filter for the current Episode or main category. Check whether the previous step has an unclaimed reward, whether the character is in the correct region and whether a required feature quest is incomplete. If the marker points to another layer or instance, use the quest description rather than walking toward a flat map icon. After an update, official notices and the live quest text override an older route.

Elyos Route Checklist

Track the main quest, claim each reward, activate convenient travel, complete nearby feature unlocks, compare gear and keep inventory space. The practical regional order is Poeta into Verteron and then Eltnen, but the current game decides the exact handoff. Stop before a long detour and ask whether it advances story, unlocks a system or solves a real progression gap.
