AION 2 Damage Meter: Built-In Combat Analysis and Third-Party Tools
AION 2 damage meter options: the built-in Combat Analysis tool (Ctrl+X), third-party DPS meters like A2Tools, and whether they are safe to use.

Whether you want to tune your rotation or check party performance, here is the honest state of damage meters in AION 2.
The Built-In Option: Combat Analysis
AION 2 ships with an official meter called Combat Analysis — open it with Ctrl+X. It tracks:
- Your DPS and total damage
- Healing done
- Hit/crit rates and per-skill damage breakdown
It is 100% safe because it is part of the game. The limitation: it only shows your own performance, not your party members'.
Third-Party Meters
For party-wide tracking, the community uses external tools:
- A2Tools (a2tools.app) — free and open-source, tracks the full party in real time.
- Aletheia and similar open-source projects — real-time combat analysis with skill timelines and battle reports.
These tools work by passively observing network traffic rather than modifying game memory or files.
Use third-party tools at your own risk
NCSoft has not officially approved or banned these meters, and there are no confirmed ban reports at launch — but that can change with any policy update or packet encryption change. We list them for information only; this site does not provide downloads and cannot guarantee their safety. Never use DPS data to harass other players — that itself violates conduct rules regardless of the tool's status.
Which Should You Use?
- Solo improvement / rotation practice: the built-in Combat Analysis is enough, and zero risk.
- Party analysis for raid progression: third-party meters fill the gap, but accept the gray-zone risk before installing anything.
- If NCSoft ever publishes an official policy, we will update this page.
