Plan AION 2 Abyss Supply Requests by separating Emergency, Regular: Craft, Regular: Boss and Weekly requests before spending materials.

Abyss Supply Requests ask for specific equipment, crafted goods, boss targets, consumables or gathered materials. They are easiest to manage when treated as an inventory and scheduling system rather than a list to complete immediately. First identify the request type, then compare the turn-in cost with the reward and your current progression needs.
Available entries, quantities and rewards can change. Confirm every requirement and timer in the current client before crafting, purchasing or consuming a valuable item.
Request Types
| Type | Typical requirement | Preparation approach |
|---|---|---|
| Emergency | Equipment, materials or consumables requested on short notice | Keep flexible stock and check before selling extras |
| Regular: Craft | A profession-related product or material | Compare recipe cost, mastery and market alternatives |
| Regular: Boss | Defeat a named target | Group by location and party availability |
| Weekly | A broader material or activity turn-in | Reserve items across the week instead of rushing on reset day |
The type describes how to prepare; it does not prove that every request is profitable. Open the exact entry and read its requirement, remaining time and reward.
Check Before You Commit
Use this order for every request:
- Confirm the item name, binding state, grade and quantity.
- Check whether the required item is already reserved for gear, crafting or another progression system.
- Compare the reward with the replacement cost.
- Confirm the reset or expiration time.
- Verify the correct character, faction and request category.
- Turn in only after the interface recognizes the intended item or objective.
Do not rely on similar names. Equipment families and materials can have several grades or bound variants. Lock valuable gear and separate request stock from active equipment.
Preparing Emergency Requests
Emergency lists can include weapon and armor categories, accessories, consumables and gathered or refined materials. Keep a small reserve of broadly useful items, but do not fill storage with every possible entry. The safer approach is to retain surplus items that are cheap to replace and check the request list before extracting or selling them.
For equipment requests, compare the exact slot and item state. Never hand over an upgraded piece or a current set component simply because its base name looks correct.
Planning Craft and Weekly Requests
For Regular: Craft entries, calculate the full input chain. Include refined materials, profession requirements, purchased components and opportunity cost. The crafting guide explains how to avoid starting a recipe before all stages are available.
For Weekly entries, create a reserve threshold. Materials above the threshold can be sold or used; materials below it stay protected until you decide whether the weekly reward is worthwhile. Add the check to the daily and weekly checklist so it happens before routine cleanup.
Organizing Boss Requests
Regular: Boss requests are time problems as much as combat problems. Group targets by region, check whether the target is available, and combine the trip with other Abyss objectives. If a party is required, arrange it before traveling and confirm that every member has the correct request active.
Do not publish or follow a fixed spawn promise without checking the current server. Population, maintenance and event rules can change availability. Use the live map, request text and party communication as the final authority.
Reward and Cost Decisions
Compare requests using net value rather than reward rarity alone:
- replacement cost of the submitted item;
- time required to gather, craft or defeat the target;
- whether the reward advances a current goal;
- whether the same resource is needed for equipment progression;
- remaining time before the request changes.
The Abyss rewards guide helps place rewards beside other Abyss spending priorities. The currency guide can help when a request competes with shop or upgrade costs.
Storage Routine
Create three groups: keep for active progression, reserve for requests, and safe to sell or extract. Review the request reserve after each reset. Remove items that no longer match current entries so the system does not turn into permanent clutter.
Before using batch sell, extraction or substance morph, search the active request list for the item name. This small check prevents the most expensive mistake: destroying a valid turn-in and then paying to recreate it.
Common Mistakes
- Submitting an upgraded or currently equipped item.
- Crafting before checking every input and profession requirement.
- Buying materials when the reward is worth less than the market cost.
- Confusing Emergency, Regular and Weekly timing.
- Traveling for a boss without activating the correct request.
- Hoarding every possible item instead of maintaining a limited reserve.
Treat each request as a costed objective. Verify the exact entry, protect active gear, group compatible tasks and keep only the reserve that supports the current cycle.
